What you’re not seeing is the impact of that particular blow; we wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up getting a couple of teeth knocked out by the other player’s powerful kick. Add the fact that soccer shoes aren’t the softest and you’ve got a double whammy.

We sure hope he was able to walk away from it with only minor injuries—just goes to show how dangerous soccer can be. Aside from needing one for their health and physical therapy, dental insurance is also a necessity.
